Our Case Studies
Lincoln Community School
Lincoln Community School has a population of over 600 students and generates lots of wastewater within their facility. This wastewater needs to be dislodged very frequently. Also, to maintain their school football field, the school was using tons of clean drinkable water which isn’t a sustainable practice. Been an environmentally conscious institution, the school contacted us to install a system that can help prevent water wastage.
Solution
Our team installed an above-ground wastewater treatment unit for the school consisting of anaerobic digesters and aerobic filter unit to treat all wastewater from the school. The wastewater was further purified using activated carbon filters and an oxonation unit. Clean, clear and treated was generated and re-used in maintaining the school’s football field, preventing water wastage and contributing to a circular water economy.
Food Processors International (Ghana Fresh)
The company produces local packaged food products including palm based products. This generates a very oily wastewater stream that was creating a lot of discomfort within their environment
Solution
We constructed a wastewater treatment unit fitted with a grease and oil separation system, anaerobic and aerobic filters. The resultant effluent was clean and clear and met all regulatory discharge standards. .
Abetifi Technical School
The school is a second circle boarding facility that houses over 500 students. Located on the mountainous Kwahu Ridges, water is a valuable and scarce resource. The school also spends a lot of money to purchase gas for cooking purposes.
Solution
We constructed for the school a decentralized wastewater treatment system consisting of anaerobic digesters , anaerobic baffle reactor and planted gravel filter. The treated wastewater water is chlorinated and recirculated into the school toilet facility for flushing while the biogas generated from anaerobic digestion is used for cooking. Click to edit text. Rosons Foods
With a modern poultry farming facility with over 35000 birds. Their daily housekeeping activities generates a lot of wastewater that was flowing into nearby farms and waterbodies due to the topography of their location. Bring an environmentally conscious business, they were looking for sustainable ways to handle their wastewater without polluting nearby water bodies.
Solution
We constructed a DEWATS system consisting of a sedimentation chamber, anaerobic baffled reactor and anaerobic filter system to treat all wastewater from the facility before discharge.
